I agree with most of this, but I don't think Bubba can run at the 3 very often. No way he can defend other 3s with his size. I'd almost rather have him run the point and bump Devoe towards the 3. The stretch of the game where Bubba ran the point was our smoothest offensive series.

Someone on one of the boards said that we have better players than either Mercer or GaSt but they don't mesh as a team as well as those two teams. Some of that is game-day coaching, but a lot is not constructing a whole team thru recruiting.

For those saying we have less talent than Mercer, I don't agree. Bubba Parham averaged 24 pts a game and 40 percent 3pt shooting in the same league Mercer plays in Our coaches aren't putting our players in position to succeed

Even with a bad season, I'm not sure we'd make a change with everything that's going on.

I think it's a little early to tell. Recruiting has been better, but our on the field results are still not far off of where our salaries rank. I'm hoping that answer will be different in the next couple seasons
