Other "second tier" teams playing on Friday nights in 2020: Clemson, USC, Miami, VT, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Virginia, UCLA, Cal, Iowa, Minnesota, Ole Miss, Miss St., Wisconsin, North Carolina....and many more.
Sorry for your loss, and while we all must face that day at the end of the road it sounds like your dad did it with a loving son by his side and I'm sure that means a lot to him.
Yes, yes there is. Straight from IPCC. And the RCP numbers are different scenarios based on what measures are taken. Granted you didn't specify exactly which measures, or what timeline, but I think the below shows more than just a fraction of a degree over the next few decades
Fraction of a degree off the current baseline? No. But limiting the change to a fraction of a degree rather than multiple degrees down the road? Yes. That is significant.
What do you mean "not worth it"? Are you expecting a cooling of multiple degrees for it to be "worth it"? The goal isn't necessarily to cool the planet at all...but to prevent warming that would make life uninhabitable in some places and cause disaster. If the status quo can be maintained...
I think the issue regarding the bolded boils down to a couple things:
1 - the polarity and tribalism of politics has led to environmental issues to become a left/right issue when I don't think it should be. And so you may disagree with the extent that the Democrats or the left feels they...
Cam Akers for 1. Better QB play as well.
Yeah, they made a Bowl game. They also got blown out at home by Miami, a team we beat....in Miami. I wouldn’t build them up too much
This guy:

In short: Had a YouTube channel in high school, went to play at UCF, NCAA said he had to shut down his YouTube channel, UCF appealed, NCAA said he could continue if he de-monetized his channel, he refused and wound up being suspended...
I'm not missing that point, I just think it's overblown. Are there not bidding wars already? Haven't we all heard about the bidding war for Cam Newton? Didn't CPJ share how much it would cost to get a top tier DL on that market? The imbalance is already here
And there's what 25-30 5 stars...
One huge difference between NFL and college is the compensation. If you're making the minimum for an active roster player you're making $480k. You don't necessarily need a side hustle if you're making that. Even if you're practice squad you're making $8k/week
Limiting it to just autographs is antiquated thinking.
(Edit: this isn't directed at you specifically. When this topic comes up many seem to think the only options for payment are autographs, car dealership commercials, or salaries from the school)
If Jahaziel Lee wanted to start a...
How about letting the market decide? How about letting the athletes make money off of their own likeness and fame like every other adult is allowed to do?
They could have their own YouTube account, or cameo accounts, or sponsored Instagram posts, etc.
"BuT iT wiLl Be aBuSed"
I understand there are concerns about “abuse” when it comes to allowing players to profit off their likeness and I don’t know the solution to prevent all of that but I think they should err to the side of allowing these adults to make money off of who they are and their talents.
If the NCAA...
I believe you’re thinking of 2012 when we were tied with Miami and UNC but went to the ACCCG over them due to NCAA stuff. 2014 we won the Coastal outright at 6-2 in conf play
