You mean Lucas Johnson? Oh what could have been. I would really like to see what he can do healthy. Hopefully he doesn't spend his college days on the IR.
Did you notice how many times he pitched the ball (seemingly) past the LOS? I think I saw it two or three times. Just like you said about the pitch relationship, it was much better on Saturday, as folks were in the right place even on the "late" pitches. I put late in quotes because I thought...
TM's pitches were a thing of beauty as well. He seems to force the LB's to commit to him before he would pitch. Took a couple of hard steps towards them to bring them in then pitched it. Was really good to see, reminded me of the JT would pitch the ball sometimes.
As the players grow/learn more in the D, I think we will see more press coverage. I have seen a difference in our playing style since the Clemson game. Let's hope that every game is an improvement.
I have to admit, I was wavering towards the end of the three game losing streak, posting something about hating not being competitive. I feel much better about our team today than a few weeks ago. We're beginning to see some light from the defense and the offense is clicking like we have never...
I could give two ****s what some radio folks say about our team, but I want to win and I want to win now. I am tired of feeling like we are one play from losing every game. I don't care how Stansbury goes about getting it done, I just care that he does. I will have a hard time spending any...
Yes, he makes quick decisions and sticks with them, right or wrong. Marshall seems take longer to decide what he is going to do, not good for this type of offense.
I think we don’t have a competitive team right now. It WAS my opinion that we had the big guns to have a special year. I was dead wrong. IMO, we should start to play the folks that will help us next year. This year is in the crapper.
We haven't even come close to playing a good game yet, not sure if we will. One thing I know about Tech, when they knock you down and make you feel as though they will never beat anyone, they surprise you. Also the same on the other side.
I can't take losing, it takes too much out of me. If it takes adding majors to turn our program around, so be it. I want a team that doesn't feel like it is on the verge of collapse all the time. I don't know what the answer is, but I sure hope we have someone in place that can figure it out...
TStan needs to be very careful with what he does over the next couple of year. I know that is a rudimentary statement, but with the way we are set up and our tough schedule every year we could find ourselves in dark days as a team if he doesn't make the perfect hire. Are fans willing to put up...
I'm considering going, but I can't stand to lose many more games in person. It is not fun to lose an entire day (or weekend in the case of UCF) to go watch your team lose.
I hate the idea of artificially inflating our wins, by removing the good teams. Here's an idea, lets field a competitive team that can beat those guys. We are not there right now...
