Almost could go change of pace with MJ and another QB. Would make preparation a nightmare. VT seemed caught off guard/unprepared for us with MJ at the helm. With respect to transfers you'd like to see a kid move to another position and get that valuable GT degree.

IMO, for this team there is a LOT that is there for the taking. It depends how hard the guys are willing to work. If they can approach this season with the same edge, drive, work ethic, and commitment to each other and the program as they did last offseason, I believe the talent and depth...

Couldn't agree more. The whole Vad Lee / Tevin Washington thing showed that. Seeing all the practice reps makes it really obvious for a coach.

Didnt woods blow out a knee or a shoulder in camp? That can be tough emotionally for a young guy who has never been injured. And sometimes the surgery doesn't produce great results (e.g. Chris Griffin). I'm sure the reason will come out. I just wish the best for the kid.

Good teams have more than one good back. Last year Mills and Marshall were a good combo. Laskey and Days were a good combo in '14. I dont mind going 3 deep at BB. We'll need all of them. Competition is a good thing!

Makes sense. Usually it takes reps to get ball security down but you never know when some kid will buck the trend. I like where MJ is right now with his fundamentals. Havent seen the other guys to compare.

My prediction is MJ will start and some folks will be calling like mad for the back up anytime the offense struggles. It will be Tevin/Vad all over again, but less severe since supporting cast on offense is better. Death, taxes, and calling for the back up QB, because CPJ is stubborn, clueless...

Agree Corey really stepped up last year and arguably was our best D player. He, Gamble, or PJ. I can't comment on the NFL part, but as IIRC Corey was a late take 2-star type some felt might be a reach. Just seems to keep working and improving. Likeable guy for sure!
