Not saying they weren't great under Spurrier. I just think you're really remembering your good ole days a little different than the rest of the world. 08 Florida is widely known as a top 10 team of all time. Tebow one of if not the best ever college football player ever.
The SEC since around 2004 has been ridiculous. They had 7 straight national champions. Don't compare UF in 97 to one of the best teams ever under tebow. You just lost go home
O'Leary played a uga program that won 10 games one time in 5 years. Paul played a uga program that had 7 10 win seasons in 11 years. Your opinions don't support facts.
I must be missing something. Paul played the best coach win percentage wise in the history of uga football. So how could they possibly be the worst teams in 30 years?
We haven't won 10 games since 2014 yeah. Won 9 in 2016 but "the occasional 10" so about every 4-5 years the majority are wanting 10 wins. I agree it was time for Paul to step down. Just because he wasnt the coach I once saw fired up on the sidelines. But for some posters to claim 7-8 wins is...
That really is a dumb comment guy. 2009 uga was preseason number 1. The past two years they are a top 5 team. O'Leary played the worst uga teams. Not close
I think it's weird almost every poster on here said 7-8 wins is acceptable with the occasional 10... That's what we just had and everyone wanted him fired. Hilarious
Can't really call an 18 year old kid an idiot for choosing the wrong school. Most of us struggle to think about what we are going to eat for dinner at night
Justin Fields dad lives in my friends subdivision. It will be made final he's transferring after the bowl game and Tech is indeed on the list. Wants to stick it to the Dawgs
Look I love Paul Johnson but a head coach who is selling your program at all times should never say.."Historically this program is 6-6." It's like you being the CEO of a company and the board members want answers as to why your numbers are declining. Should you tell them "Well historically this...
Can't find the link because it was a press conference and I don't remember if it was preseason or after a game. Paul said. " When you look back at it historically Tech has been 6-6. "
I loved Paul Johnson and the option offense just as much as anyone but Paul also publicly called Tech a mediocre program. We did not fire him on the spot for that remark just like we shouldn't not hire someone based off negative recruiting
Football is business as much as some people don't want to admit it. If Brent Key came to tech to help us recruit a top 15 class every year and win a national championship. I could give two ****s less what he said 10 years ago
