I'm not sure what is underlying the Stanford, Cal to ACC but it sure smells it was all for ND, then they get a contract with NBC for big money, now have control of ACC and get to play their teams out west - ACC teams are now stuck with low revenues for 13 years and end up not being able to...
If they wait for it to expire the ACC will be irrelevant at that time IMO. Looks to me like it all goes dead for at least 6 mos now that the season is upon us. I sure hope so. The conferences would be foolish to carry it fwd during the season, could really hurt their images IMO. But the ACC...
I keep seeing people referring to 2 team conferences, hard for me to see it easy to be otherwise. Everybody can't win 11-12 games each in the same conference. Maybe I'm missing something.
The part I'm impressed with is Key and company making the decision now and not waiting, something about that seems right to me. I have no idea how each QB can play or show, always going to have to trust CBK, CCW, CBF for that decision and I'm sure they don't know exactly they just call it best...
I don't think a guy in Brian Baker's capacity is allowed to coach on the practice field either. Am I right about that? I've always thought he advised and coached through the position coach. Because Marco is new to coaching, I thought it was more a case of helping and expanding Marco's coaching...
Are coaches now allowed to work with the kids in the summer mos before camp starts? Seems like I read that somewhere, certainly every teams gains something by that but seems to me it would be even more important for a situation like ours and Louisville with new staffs etc. Some here indicating...
I'm not just automatically putting Ole Miss in the loss column for us, at least not yet. There just so many unknowns for us at this point, not sure anybody knows how we may match up with any team, maybe our coaches have some idea.
Our Prez put himself on the line, I'm betting he pulls it off, we're sitting on a gold mine that an academic can recognize. They understand what a BIG membership means in research sharing and the pockets of the GT faculty/researchers. There is way more at stake here than just FB revenue. This is...
Geep Wade seems to have a lot of energy, the more I see of this staff the more I like each and everyone of them, appearing to be one heck of a job by CBK. But as we and they all know it will eventually come down to W&Ls.
How did you come up with the 1-14 rankings or order? Something you made up or is this actual viewership rankings? I ask because when I go into medium.com and look at their numbers it shows for instance that Louisville has viewership along with Pitt, UM higher than GT.
I would have to add SC and UCLA to those that would draw interest visiting ATL, not because of CA people here as is the case with upper midwestern people living here but just because they are SC and UCLA and maybe even OR possibly WA. I don't know a lot about TV/media stuff but it seems to me...
According to something I recently read they have not been vetted. From what I see the BIG wanting in their conference there is very little about FSU and Clemson that would indicate that the BIG would approve them, I see some saying that is changing but I question that, at least at this time...
Coaches seem to be high on Kelly DL from S. FL. Maybe overall we have better players and depth but no players like White so we come from a lot of different places rather than dependent on one or two players to make plays.
I've always watched the games of schools in the conference that my school played in. The only exception to that has been SEC over the years since GT got out of the SEC.
