In my opinion kids are playing way too much ball. I played over 100 games a year when I was in my teens and the kid I am mentioning was on my team. He had Tommy John surgery his first year in the minors at 21. Unpopular opinion but we should be recruiting pitchers from northern and Midwest...
Tex pushed for DBo.. But in all seriousness it makes me wonder about the quality of pitchers we are recruiting. I played baseball with a guy who was in the minors and played under DBo. Claimed he was a genius and an excellent hire when we picked him up..
Smith will continue to get rocked. He has no movement on his ball and lacks control and velocity i am at a loss as to why we continue to give him any innings
Basketball all you need is 7 kids that can play. In my opinion Tech basketball should be a perennial top 15 program. If we can not find 7 smart kids who want to play D1 basketball in Atlanta then we might as well shut the football program down as there is no hope to find 50 kids who can play.
Smh you don’t know much about baseball do you? Kid had Tommy John in 2021 and didn’t play 2020 because of COVID. Despite missing two years of high school ball he is arguably the most talented pitcher on our roster. How can you not be impressed with an over the top 90+ mph fastball from a lefty...
50% of the walks are by two guys who are freshmen. (One being a true freshman) Samol has the tools to be one of the best pitchers we’ve seen at Tech. 6’8 lefty in the mid to high 90s. Let’s see how these guys develop through the season. I am actually very happy in how we are managing these guys...
Anyone who defends Collins in the slightest should be banned from Gt swarm. We literally paid him 20 million to beat UNC. He stole from the school I love and people still defend him and feel sorry for him
Two of the three guys you listed are true freshman. You have to pitch these guys early to help develop them not sit them lol then you run into situations with undeveloped arms deep into the season.
Uga doesn’t like to take them either. Kirby said he would rather develop players than hit the portal. Makes sense when you build a culture the rotation of players can be good but if you take a few of the wrong transfers it may kill your locker room
