The hard part for RS seniors is they have to petition not only for a medical red shirt but an extra 6th year of eligibility as well. Not very common they are given out but I think both Byerly and E. Joe are trying for next year.

Last year our bye was week 5. After the VT game.

Our average TOP after 6 games compared to last year is down around 5 and a half minutes.

I think the line last year was on a high cloud and very confident in themselves and therefore played to a higher level. I don't think that confidence translated to this season.

Does anyone else feel we never seem to get bye weeks when we need them? I'm aware it's all 100% chance based on how the season turns out but dang I wish we had an earlier bye week this year to provide some healing/coaching time.

Boomer we have like 4-5 HS teachers on the board including you and me. We could have a fun drawn out conversation on a lot of things our state does poorly.

I appreciated his talking about turning down other jobs since he's been at tech. We have a coach who wants to be here guys. That's a big deal.
