Should CPJ be the coach in 2014?

It would be interesting. I'm just not sure if he would take it.

Should CPJ be the coach in 2014?

If you want someone who has had experience at a more academically invested school, might I suggest Willie Taggart who used to be the RB coach at Stanford (back when Toby Gerhart was there)?

Should CPJ be the coach in 2014?

I kinda want someone with a little bit more experience as a head coach.

Should CPJ be the coach in 2014?

Basically I'd be fine with anybody but Lane Kiffin or Bobby Petrino. I'm not sure I could root for either of them.

I'd be perfectly fine with this

Should CPJ be the coach in 2014?

Yeah I guess you're right. It should make for an interesting off season

Should CPJ be the coach in 2014?

I honestly couldn't tell you. I would hope that it would be better. I just think that with the personnel that we have, that if we do indeed fire CPJ, they will look for someone who runs a somewhat similar offense, but possibly more dynamic.

Should CPJ be the coach in 2014?

I'd think it would be interesting to see. The biggest problem I would have with Whisenhunt is that since he was in the NFL, he will want to run a pro-style offense, which wouldn't be very easy with the personnel we have currently.

any specific names come to mind?

Should CPJ be the coach in 2014?

What do you think some realistic options are? Personally, the dream hire is Chad Morris, obviously. Another under the radar name could be Rich Rod. The problem with him (witch is the same with Morris) is that I don't think he would leave where he's at now. A guy I've been high on the last couple...

    Notes from Wednesday

that same play was the main play call that bothered me. Everything else was poor execution and penalties

    3-2 or 4-1 Perspective

Personally, I've always been "on the fence" about CPJ, but have more recently thought that GT would be better off if they moved on. I think that due to the buyout that would be required to fire CPJ, that GT will not fire him. I honestly think that CPJ is at least in the second half of his...

    3-2 or 4-1 Perspective

number two might be a bit of an over exaggeration, but I'm sure that if we do lose the game, fans will be calling for CPJ's head.

    GT - Miami predictions

You also have to remember that other than that game, Florida's offense has been absolutely ABYSMAL

    GT - Miami predictions

Looking at their schedule, I realized that I forgot they played Florida. Personally, I think Florida has been overrated the last couple years, since they have no offense whatsoever. I actually think their offense will improve w/out Driskel at QB. Anyway, my prediction stays the same. Go Jackets...

    GT - Miami predictions

I honestly don't know what to expect from either team. Miami has looked good so far this year, I just don't think they've actually played anybody. I'll say that CPJ takes this GT team "to war" and wins 35-31 in a thriller with a defensive stand led by Jabari Hunt-Days and possibly a Jemea Thomas...

"The offense seemed completely befuddled and directionless."

All Oregon's offense is is a different variation of the same Spread Option that GT runs. Comparing the two offenses is like comparing the run-it-down-your-throat pro-style offense of Stanford or Wisconsin to the more pass-happy pro-style offense of the New England Patriots. Both are pro-style...
