If anything, I think this year helped his status by showing that he can play DE at the same level as rush linebacker

I too am a Coach Speed fan. I said it was very unlikely for either one to be fired. I brought up Speed simply based on the secondary performance throughout the year. I tthink both will look better next season

1. Getting younger on both sides of the football 2. Getting bigger up front on Oline 3. Recruiting is improving 4. Defense is improving 5. Recruiting is becoming more nationalized
