Singleton's extra weight is a little surprising, given he was running track in the spring. If his listed height is accurate (5-11), 15 pounds isn't that much, but I wouldn't expect him to get heavier. He's in RB territory now.

I believe there is some synergy between football and basketball in the sense that being elite in either garners positive name recognition for the other. If you can be very good-to-elite in both, so much the better. If you are also good at some of the other programs, that's icing on the cake...

I pulled this 1950 team photo from the Tech archives. If dark (presumably navy) jerseys were the rare exception, it seems odd that we would use that for their posed team photo.
