Did not mention CPJ in my comment Tempest_12.
Kallon has been sitting because he has not shown the intensity/ability to play in a game. Hopefully he has turned that corner and we will have a 4* on the field instead of on the bench. This is his second week on the depth chart.
Apology accepted.
The 10/24/13 Depth Chart is showing Hunt-Days at ILB backed up by Drummond. Also has Thomas at Safety.
Kallon is showing as back up to Cummings at DT again. Positive sign for him. Don't need 4* recruits sitting.
The Ol has Jackson, Braun, Finch, Mason and Chamberlain across the front.
Losing one scholarship per year for 3 years is a significant penalty for Miami basketball.
But as usual the NCAA penalizes the institution and not the guilty person. A 5 game suspension is a joke. Why not suspend him from coaching in the NCAA Basketball Tournament for a year?
"“I think it was a big relief for us to come out and show people that coach (Paul Johnson) is still a really awesome coach and play-caller..."
Will Jackson in the ajc.
Looking at the 10/17 two deep depth chart weekly always turns up some interesting changes.
At ILB Harrell & Hunt-Days as co-starters. Harrell must have had a great game against UM.
Kallon in the 2 deep at DT. Has Kallon finally turned the corner?
Thomas listed as a starter at S and a backup...
Nowhere to go but up...............Guys need a "chip" on their shoulders.
"Charlotte, N.C. -10/16/2013 - Georgia Tech's men's basketball team was picked to finish 11th Wednesday by the media attending the Atlantic Coast Conference's annual "Operation Basketball" media day.
The Yellow Jackets...
"We used to have 2 OL coaches, must have been a reason. Maybe losing that other OL coach has a bearing on what's going on right now?"
Interesting point. The other coaching position is now the ST coach. Anyone in the know on this?
Look for less mention of PG and SG. Gregory sounds like he will play just Guards. Golden, S. Poole, Bolden, Jorgenson, Poole and Heyward. Then Morris comes back from surgery.
I would agree with the general feeling that the false starts indicate a problem. And it has not been just this season. But bottom line is that the GT OL was unable to consistently block VT, UM and BYU.
