regarding the second part...I am probably more lenient than you there....so for me I hope Geoff brings a tad more there than in the past. I am not saying flat out cut players that committed or cut em after year 1 etc...but there are other things we can do....taking more exceptions for one...we...
captain obvious there...and it is exactly why I said my first point to you. IF he beats em out, says alot. So we are back to square one with my point. I guess you kinda proved it.
Its fine, I get where you are coming from regarding the new swag of GT and its players...its gonna be here a while...
if you don't buy in you don't buy in. Florida will run essentially the same offense we are about to; or let me say, we will run a very similar set especially on the line. So iiwii.
Its not. I wasn't even going to reply its so silly. If there is one poster these two months that has said stop pitting one staff vs the other and give both credit where its due its me. Some people are still so sad paul left anything the new guy does must be due to anti paul. And that attitude is...
As i understand it doesnt include transfers. If u factor in the 4 star wr. The highly talented TE from uconn and the ol our class looks better.
I would say def top 6-7 in acc.
Its cool how much he is embracing atlanta and not avoiding being in a city. Selling it.
Selling our facilities are nice pumping up what we do have. Kids hear it and buy in. Look at lockhart.
Lol huh? What are u even talking about. We need to emphasize what a great job these coaches did. Techster even agreed with my point. I guess we all read what we want to.
They didn't just pick up the baton and close guys that were in the fold. They literally got nearly 10 brand new commitments from kids that had no desire to come here, including 2 4 star players. Nearly 50% of this class (if u include the transfers) was all CGC work in only a handful of weeks...
Not sure of the question but if u r in school and were admitted under a scholarship offer regardless of if you are being redshirted or not you count against the 85. So that means at any time. Redshirting doesnt have anything to do with it. Its admitted in school under scholarship
No u are missing my point. If he graduates and has eligibility left unless u kick him off the team and pull his ship from him, if he goes to graduate school then gt pays, he is still on the team and occupying a ship for that final year. Therfore yes, it does use up a scholarship. One that could...
Yeah i think thats true. If they don’t petition to graduate, and use the last semester for more courses for a minor or certificate as long as the hours are met they can play. I think thats is right
No. I am not kidding. And it has in fact happened here and i wish not to go into details. If the coach doesnt want you on his team he has that right and some coaches do this to make sure they transfer. He got his degree. So the whole education thing is not a great point. No one owes an sa a grad...
A roster is 85 ships and capped at 105 as of my last memory. I doubt alabama had a roster of 140 since it would be a blatant violation of roster mandated by NCAA. We too, have a roster of around 105 any given year.
If a player has graduated, but still has eligibility, they are still on...
