NO excuses this yr.This is not a hard schedule if you play decent football. THAT is the problem.At this point------we have a weak offense and a BAD def and certainly STs are not an asset .It's up to GC to change that.

Sluggy, yep -Either the talent wasn't motivated(if we had some) or the coaching direction was poor--because we had a DEF that was terrible ,esp the DBs.Just look at the stats.

The fact that we struggle to come up with maybe 4 PROVEN "concerning"names tells the story of this team.Either there is not much talent and/or it hasn't been coached up.

Thanks so much for your insight.It looked the same on TV. I'm afraid that we will see a duplication of this game a LOT next yr ( especially w/o Ush and Mike ) unless we get some "big" talent.

Of all the transfers it seems only McGown and Cochran were much higher in talent that what was here and in impact. Maybe some will do better going forward--K. White? Harris? M. Sims?

Actually the UNcheat game may be as one of the largest (positive) outliers in Tech history. How we changed our DEf effectively was amazing.Maybe just as amazing was how it made no difference for the rest of season. hmmm

LBs should be at top of list.Losing Quez was HUGE!! Its actually pretty scary what our talent/exp level is there if we plan to have a better DEF.

With Gibbs, we are about to see why the OC -P here was fired.How we had such a crappy run game esp with our backs (and really with a running QB) is beyond belief.Gibbs will kill it at Bama.
