I totally agree - absurd! Maybe I am outdated - in college 1960 - 1966 - but I recall no one doing the dumb stuff that is going on today. What has happened to intellect?

I would like to see GT play this up: the guy gets hurt, stays on scholly, gets a degree and a first class job straight out of school. Only at GT! I agree it might not mean much to an invincible 17 year old but maybe it would mean a lot to mom and dad.

A couple of IMO statements: I can live with the OL of Griffin, Braun, Burden, Mason and Chamberlain. And if someone beats out one of those in August. so much the better. If Jordan is going to beat out Griffin at QB, he better get at it pronto.

Per his dad he is immediately eligible. Now his dad is also on the lookout for a job. GT has an opening. Will it happen? Will a former head be happy as an assistant?

Question. If student athletics are employees, who are they employees of, the athletic association or the university? What about GT and UGA etc who are part of the University System of Georgia? Who is the employer? And, as a previous poster noted, are they liable for federal and state income...

I do not recall him being on GT's wish list in 2011. Not sure we ever offered.

Interesting. The ratings by PayScale regardless of sorts is GT #6 based on in state tuition investment and ROI and GT at #16 based on out of state. For comparison UGA is # 301 for in state tuition investment. http://www.payscale.com/college-roi/full-list
