  1. 2020 Offseason Thread

Bet 10 dollars. What you got to lose.
  2. Brains and football

Rugby is a contact sport. Football is a collision sport. If you play a collision sport without armor there are less concussions yes. There are more deaths though.
  3. Yellow Jackets 2020 Class

Sweet I've been so out of the loop since the new year with regards to offeseason stuff.
  4. Yellow Jackets 2020 Class

I wonder if our Oline gains will let Lee play DT that gives us a 300 pounder in the interior.
  5. Dave Patenaude's Offense

We beat fsu, 6 of our losses were one score losses you're right. His scheme did its job he had true freshman with no time in system giving more talented teams all they could handle.
  6. Dave Patenaude's Offense

We were still competitive even with all those injuries in 2015 because we had an identity and we stuck to it. None of those kids ran the option for 11 years and because we were light on upperclassman that really removes the whole offense for 11 years thing. One of the issues in 2015 was...
  7. Dave Patenaude's Offense

No team survives an injury report like we had that year. Even still we lost a lot of 1 score games and were competitive in pretty much every game. We even almost beat georgia and upset the number 9 team. Not exactly the same kind of bad season.
  8. Butker to the Super Bowl

Calvin still needs to finish up, he was planning on doing it but then did dancing with the stars instead I can't remember if he's got around to do it yet with his business venture. So technically he can't grad assist until he's a grad. He could actually be a student Assistant liek AJ gray was.
  9. Jordan Mason Highlights

Man if mason was a step faster... we'd have had a lot more TDs.
  10. Quarterback for next year

Right now running backs are basically seen as 4-5 year contracts for the team that drafts them for the most part. If even if they prove themselves they are likely allowed to enter free agency because another one will probably be just as good. After all these first round busts on QB's i expect we...
  11. Quarterback for next year

I am not sure what he was talking about with height. The type of QB is determined by tendencies, releases, and style. Gleason can run but he was not a run first QB or even a run Second QB. He did do some running but it was more like how aaron Rodgers will take off. Sims however was definitely...
  12. Question About Tobias Oliver

Roddy knows how to make money. he works for ESPN they have talking points you have to stick to as color commentary.
  13. Question About Tobias Oliver

Plus get degree, play another year as a return specialist and slot receiver, grad transfer somewhere in need is a smart way to give yourself a shot at the next level.
  14. Question About Tobias Oliver

I think he definitlybfita the real definition of a flex. If they incoperate the packages for him from the start he can be a big asset
  15. Quarterback for next year

I wouldn't be surprised to see more teams start seeing QBs like running backs. The franchise model seems to be a very very rare win now so I expect we may start seeing the nfl diversify among the non traditional powers that don't have an aaron rodgers type.
  16. Lucas Johnson Entering Transfer Portal

I think oliver sticks around to play receiver. I am not sure graham wins the job next year.
  17. Quarterback for next year

He'll go home and do well on the west coast.
  18. 2021 Georgia Tech Draftees

Mason has the ability to slide up and slot into full while being a short yardage back. People aren't really drafting runningbacks like they use to I think he'll be and UDFA but one that sticks around the league awhile.
  19. Nate Woody . . .

My only issue with ted's defenses is they live and die by dl play. He's very much a rush 4 scrape and move style defense limit big plays, force turnovers. A lot of his blitzes were delayed which works if you got tackles eating up olinement, don't if they can go 1-1 and keep you out.
  20. Note from Juanyeh Thomas

Proven its a weak excuse. But as it stands right now and how the NCAA goes about it they would have to make a ton of changes to save non revenue sports. Right now these sports are funded by the revenue of the mens football and basketball programs. If that goes to the players its inevitable the...
