A 3 and out is a turnover especially when you throw three times and run no huddle so only like 23 second tick off the clock. Running was pretty much individual effort by Mason. We did not run the ball well as a team, the line had issues creating lanes to run through and Mason basically ran...
Just having a triple doesn't really work. Shotgun option schemes typically work better with double options because options from the gun do not hit as fast as under center. I'd rather us not run any real triple from the gun the risk reward just isn't there. When the mesh point is already 6 yards...
TENN slept on them completely Pruitt was disciplining people and just all around dropped the ball. But they were not that good. Right now though neither are we. I'd rather not play ga State when we can lose to them. And for optics playing kennesaw state is a VERY bad idea. If bohannon beats us...
You guys need to remember Smoov was small coming in as a freshman and thus redshirted and in 2013 he was knocked out of them miami game with a concussion after one sack. CPJ did not play him because he wasn't ready for the grind that year he needed another year to get there. In 2018 we...
I am just talking about a package. would simply be a heavy package. Could also do it out of the power I. Rest of the offense would be the same. Every play i listed is still man blocked. Zone and stretch can also be run. You aren't digging and cutting its all power.
Could you imagine if we just rolled out oldschool wishbone power at times. I mean seriously just line up and get down hill. BJS at Full, Mason and a speed counters, sweeps, inside traps, outside traps, influence traps, power toss, FB dives etc.
Might solve some short yardage.
Honestly think if Nesbitt hadn't been injured he probably gets a bit more time in the league as a RB or SS potentially. That era still had a place for power backs. The problem was by the time he rehabed he was behind on a position switch. We probably beat VT with him in there, maybe even beat...
I wouldn't read to much into him moving to DB. In all likelyhood he's still playing outside backer its jsut he and kaleb oliver will flip whose on the field situationally. Expet CT to still be a rusher and run support guy from the nickle position most downs.
With us in our base package its reallymore of a front 6 now. I expect we will be even heavier in 4-2-5 and 3-3-5 allignments to leverage our safety depth. Oliver and carpenter really need to be on the field together.
When is the last time someone with a less than 75k stadium was a nc. Was it us in 90? Legit curious on this one.
The second line is very true but its true of most places.
