Wasn't a Gatorade player of the year for nothing! Looks like Morgan Burnett and will more than likely be playing on Sunday if he progresses like I think he will. The game looks easy to him.
I've been a Tech fan ever since I started watching football. I'm 38 now and just don't let a loss ruin my weekend like I use to do. Last year was a great year to be a sidewalk Tech fan and a great recruiting class to finish it off! I think this is going to end up being a rebuilding year and...
We are hurting big time not having Laskey or Days right now. Skov isn't a RB, he is FB and doesn't how to run in open space. I would like to see Bryan play more since we burned his shirt. Some of those Lineman clearly didn't want it today.
I think the team was to confident. I mean how often would we be favored for most of the week to beat them? Even half the talking heads at secpn picked us saying our ground game could not be stopped. So much for our athletes being bigger and faster than Navy. I bet they play better than we did.
Why can't we hit someone just over the middle when there cheating up like that? Not sure why we don't at least try to do this more? We didn't throw any sideline passes today as well.
The team will learn from this and be better prepared for next Saturday against a Duke team coming off a loss. I had visions of us going undefeated after the first two games. We simply wasn't ready to play today against the talent of ND.
The line is not as good as I thought. Justin tried to do to much. The loss of Smelter and Waller was big today. The misses by Butker was killer too. Proud of the defense for the most part. I expect to see Notre Dame in the playoffs. Really good team.
If only the run Justin made for the td would have counted. I know football is a lot of what ifs, but still. The season is still young and we got a lot to play for still!
