Our pitchers combined ERA was .033 this weekend. I'M HAPPY !
Why live in the past..?
Our series with him in past has been up and down. This year may not be any different but let's see what happens this year..my brother.
Really like the way we played all around, minus the 3 errors. Agree on about the need to tighten it up but it didn't hurt us.
I thought going into this weekend that Purdue and VCU would give us a run for our money. Purdue errors hurt them.
Up next is @ Ga. Southern.
Scores from yesterday:
BC beat Northern Ill. 5-1
Duke lost to Cal. 5-2
WF beat Georgetown 3-1
UVa beat Kent St. 8-6
Clemson lost to Maine 4-3
NCST. lost to Old Dominion 5-0
Pitt beat Niagara 19-10
UNC beat UCLA 4-0
ND beat Santa Clara 5-0
FSU beat Rhode Island 19-1
Miami beat...
Another you can put in the books, is Jim Luck. @GTNavyNuke did a great post on our Beesball forum: Book Report on "Tech’s Luck - The Story of Jim Luck" by Murray Silver (1989) https://gtswarm.com/threads/book-report-on-tech%E2%80%99s-luck-the-story-of-jim-luck-by-murray-silver-1989.9202/
Absolutely great stuff Nuke. Thanks !
My knowledge of GT baseball only goes back to Morris but this is a Revelation in so many ways of Tech history for me. What a legacy Mr. Luck had and the incentive to increase student participation as well.
I think it's more out of frustration than being negative knowing we are better than our record. I take no pleasure in negative posting and try not too. I really do feel for our guys.
