I seem to remember Duke getting crazy lucky with scheduling/injuries/suspensions in 2013. They may no longer be a cellar dweller, but 2013 looked like a middling team that caught every lucky break possible. They are a good team that will compete for the Coastal often, but win it much less often.

To me, the dive with Laskey is like when Logan Thomas was QB sneaking. They both get hit at the line and power through with a lot of forward lean for 7-12 yards, consistently. Hard to complain about effort and production like that, esp. given Laskey's ball security.

Yep. This kind of negativity is seen by current player and recruits; and it hurts team cohesion and recruiting...
