    Unsung heroics Saturday

On that play everyone stayed home and protected except DS.. We literally had one reciever run a route. I wouldn't credit the O-Line with that one. They still look poorly coached to me.

What happened to pass pro today?

Not much to see here. You can tell the OTs are not fundamentally sound when it comes to pass pro. I'm so tired of sewaks weak lines

    Smelter for Heisman

Keep dreaming. We'd need to be. 10+ Win team and he'd have to make the sportscenter top ten a couple of times for him to get the media coverage nexxesary for it. Also remember he was playing wofford.

    Initial Impressions

Your joking right? You want us to have 600 yards of total offense so we can have 300 running and 300yards passing just so we have enough of both? The whole point of our offense is to speed up the game, it's not feasible to put up crazy numbers. We did just fine today.

    Offensive line learning curve

If anything it should help, because defensive players are forced to line up further out to maintain their assigned gap. The offensive line just hasn't been getting it done. Payton manning couldn't have been efficient behind our offensive line last year. Passing had to be done in the first three...

    Offensive line learning curve

Passing in this offense would work just fine if the OL pass blocked well consistently. It's not the system. It's the execution.

    Offensive line learning curve

Spencer was a lot better coach than sewak and also a lot better at recruiting. when he left and sewak inherited the entire O-Line.... The word dumpster fire comes to mind.

    Offensive line learning curve

I I know I'm wayyyyy over simplifying it. I played OL and DL for one of Johnson's former players at southern. From how the defense lines up depends on who the assignment is, but to me it was really simple to see who I was blocking, even if it was a counter trap. My main beef with sewak is...

Best Hotel for Georgia Tech Football Game

The Georgia tech hotel and conference center is your best bet. Right in the middle of tech square

    Offensive line learning curve

The run blocking scheme isn't really that hard. It's basically one assignment per play. You get your man, or chip though a player to get to your man. Not complicated at all. As far as pass blocking, nothing should be dramatically different except the fact that they never go to a 2 point stance...

    Practice Vine Passing Drills

Ideally you'd have safety help on a route like that. But yeah, you can't cover from that far behind the recieved.

Gotsis is 100% Confident in DL

That sounds like a good sized running back haha. That's why we have these wonderful things called helmets and facemasks. I remember hating getting knees in the face, but tackling in football with the head in front is a critical part of making a good fundamentally sound tackle. In rugby you will...

Gotsis is 100% Confident in DL

Yeah, the only difference I remember in tackling is that you tackle with your head behind the ball carrier so he doesn't knee your teeth out.
