Didn’t Key negatively recruit GT while at UCF? I know it’s part of recruiting in general, but still all this Key loves GT seems overblown to me.

Depends on who we hire as new coach. If Key then yes. If some not on current staff then no.

I think most people agree the offensive line has been poor the last 3 1/2 years. So, now we want to give that guy a promotion? Maybe it works out…but if we are using the business analogy it would not happen.

If I run a unit that is bleeding money and my CEO gets fired (in part because of my poor performance) then absolutely YES!

Really hope it’s not Key. Hard to believe we would take an offensive line coach (from a very underperforming unit) on a staff that was historically bad. And we want to do this because the team caught a couple of breaks in games that could have gone either way? Glad we won but does a few weeks...

So what about the opposite of this discussion? Expansion!! If the ACC added the best remaining PAC12 schools, would that void our GOR?

In my opinion, he did it backwards. He was promoting a poor (on field) product. Get results…THEN start the promotional. First focus on a quality product! My analogy…If you open a burger restaurant and start telling everyone how elite your burgers are, then people try it and realize they taste...

I thought our Freshman QB would look really good in that offense!

Does this end thoughts of Key as the next coach? I think we need a complete staff refresh.

The team looked better (the athletes)…but that didn’t look like a well coached team to me. A blocked punt (#4 on the year) and stupid penalties killed us today. As someone else said, a “c” coaching effort would have got us a win.

Got it…but it wasn’t, as you say, ****Ty to dump on Johnson and gloat after he left. The biggest rebuild in history. Did you come out strong on that division?

Like it or not…a BIG part of this problem we are in now is the “At least it’s not the option crowd” making excuses for the worst coach in GT history.

It’s kind of like taking a test. If I miss the first question, I am still thinking I can make an “A”. But if I only get 9 of the first 35 right, I am not feeling good about it.
