Plus the more we control the clock, the more our defense (typically the weakest part of our team) can rest. If I were a defensive player I'd hate playing for a team that runs a hurry-up offense.

It's fun to just watch Shaq on all the plays. He consistently gets to the second level and pops guys in the mouth.

Even if we suck this year (doubtful) then at least football will be back. Sometimes it's the only thing I look forward too during the fall semester. Already got my tickets and I've got the itch as bad as the players I bet.

You're right, not sure who I was thinking of. That makes it more strange that he seems to have lost some of his explosiveness.

I think he looked a good bit less explosive last year coming off his ACL tear. Hopefully he can get some of that mojo back.

Don't know why you would, he certainly is a geek, as is the majority of the Tech population. I think some people don't realize that being a geek isn't nearly as bad these days as it used to be.

If you eat at the Varsity then keep in mind that we have much, much better food haha. It's more of an icon than a legitimately good place to eat anymore. If you want some good local food I'd say go to the Vortex (assuming everyone in your group is at least 21) or Fat Matt's Rib Shack for some...
