Great game. I was nervous in the beginning because of the size on Syracuse d line. But the offensive line did a great job, particularly the three interior lineman. Days is a blocking machine as well.
Yes CPJ should be the coach for 2014, 2015, and every year after that. The big knock on him was his inability to recruit. A new AD came in, he doubled his recruiting staff and surprise, now he is able to recruit. I think his offense is a great fit for tech because he doesn't need the top...
I like GTs chances and think they win. Injuries have hurt the team bigtime this year but I do not think this BYU team is as good as last years.
I am glad their defensive end is gone.
So when the offensive line isn't blocking the defensive line or lBs, what plays should he have been calling.

Easy guys. I may agree with the need to fire the o line coach, but I don't think CPJ was the problem. No play calling is going to work if you can't block the guys in front of you, and Vad was running for his life every time he dropped back. I also don't think the diamond would have worked...
I agree, I am sure Vad and CPJ saw way more than I did. More than anything I wanted to avoid people,not necessarily on this site, but people reading the comments and then jumping on the bash Vad because he struggles to read the 3-0 bandwagon.
I re-watched the game, particularly the offense and thought I would share a couple of notes.
- while there was definitely room for improvement, the o-line played very well- except for Chamberlain he had a pretty bad game.
