I think the most likely scenario for 2 ACC teams is ND winning next weekend and then Clemson winning the championship. Both games need to be close though.

ND has a ton of speed on defense. This was the first time I've seen them this year and they were flat out getting after it. I dthink this had a little to do with Gibbs looking slower. He had that extra gear on the wheel route though in the 4th. Jamious has been dinged up the last couple of weeks.

He's only had 1.5 really. When he came in, he honored the players CPJ had signed and then went out and got Brown and Griffin in 2 months of recruiting. So really, it's more like 1.05 recruiting classes.

I wanted him to punt the ball too, but I didn't mind the decision to go for it. We just needed a better play call. Maybe let Sims roll out with an option to throw or run.

He wouldn't have made it. 2 guys had the angle on him so I think he did the smart thing and just got down. I would have liked to see him throw it away, but it's hard to fault him for trying to make a play.

It's a good thing that we don't play in the SEC then where about 8 teams finish ahead of MSU in recruiting on an average basis. If we can get in the 20s, that would be good for about 5th in the ACC typically. Get that class in and then develop them which is another key point of this staff, go...

I don't think anyone has claimed that we will be getting consistent top 10 classes. I feel like most people believe we can be in the 20s with years where we can get in the teens with some luck.

A lot of the talking heads have been saying this. There have been multiple articles written that Tech is a sleeping giant. I believe we can get there, it's just going to take time. I want to see 2 more wins this year and a bowl next year. If we do that, we're on schedule.

That team is 0-2 right now and just lost to Maryland. Besides, the year they dominated us, they were a low to mid tier team.

I just see a lot of youth in this team. There are players with experience, but the depth of the team is mainly Freshmen and Sophomores. Young teams make a lot of the mistakes that we keep seeing and mainly 4 of the 5 that you mentioned. Then like other posters stated, add COVID on top of that...

I think #2 is Dalton Smith. He was outstanding last year, so I would just say he's getting back into it.

Because his team was designed to limit possessions. I loved CPJ, but let's not pretend like he didn't have any blowout losses. Saturday felt a lot like some of CPJ's losses over his last few years. Totally overmatched. The score might have been worse, but the feeling was the exact same.
