No new news regarding OC

This hire caused a flash back to my childhood of this. No offense intended.

That’s also my thoughts as well. Perhaps a solid foundation, eager to learn from one of the best, and we don’t have to spend a lot of money(favorable contract terms) to get him here and save more money for OC.

This is great news for the momentum of getting portal targets on campus and then having them committed before they leave. Hopefully we continue to fill in holes on our roster as needed.

Key said you have to continue to recruit your own roster and team. Must take care of your players (mentally, physically, and compensation through NIL) or GT will continue to struggle to keep the really talented players.

Wonder if that’s an indication of the player having received enough interest from other programs (NIL) or if some of them (offensive players) have an idea of which direction the search is leaning and want to pursue another direction?

Well stinks to lose an OL just when you’re trying to build depth and Continuity

It’s difficult to be patient and wait for OC announcement when the head coach shuffling has gone on in numerous places and those coaches have filled out their staff overnight (or so it seems) and we’re still waiting 10 days post hiring. Really curious to see who the OC will be.

Errin Joe is back on the flats in a elevated recruiting role. Wonder who is the director of recruiting Kenyatta Or Joe? The article stated that Joe was already here at GT working. Wonder why he hasn’t updated his profile on Twitter yet? Unless I looked at a outdated twitter handle.

I agree though we need a solid to great WR and TE coach who can develop players and be great at spotting potential “under the radar” talent.

I bet Choice isn’t going anywhere. I would imagine he got lots of NIL money to spread around there at Texas and I doubt we have enough to entice him to come back considering where we are. Plus unless the OC is Weinke (sp) how can Key be the one to fill out the rest of the new OC’s position...
