Well we could see what job coaches think is better. Apparently Vandy is making a big push for Drew and Coach K pushing for Capel to stay at Duke. Could we lose out on both? Uh Oh.......

As of last night we had not even contacted Wade, not as high on list as others thought. He was very high on Vandy list which is why he got the new deal from VCU.

Despite what others are saying (and guys I respect like daBiz and KQ), there is definitely some smoke behind the Capel rumors.

No one has the scoop yet. Bobinski is handling this as well as one can and has leaked nothing. Now, Capel does fit what we are looking for but so do some others. All I know is we want a coach in place in the next couple of days. Hearing it very well could be tomorrow.

consider this though, this is the very first thing to leak about our search besides the Price announcement to save face. This could be a curveball to throw everyone off. All I know is my source who has been mostly reliable says we should know tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest.

Mack has not declined despite what others are saying. I feel very confident in MBOB and this being his decision. He is a basketball guy and no one can argue his record of hiring coaches both men and women hoops. I think anyone thinking it will be a tech guy (Price or Neal) will be disappointed...

People need to realize we are under contract with Russell through 2018. When we signed the deal Russell threw (at the time) a lot of money at us and guaranteed new uniforms every year for all sports. Of course with the explosion of UA on the scene Nike and UA both are throwing way more $ out...
