    Clemson-Miami

It was inevitable, really. Al Golden is a good coach, and seems like a good guy, but there is no excuse for that. Georgia Tech was overmatched and outclassed by Clemson, butthey didn't quit. Miami showed no guts. I DO think the Miami fanbase is wildly unrealistic in their expectations. "Da U" is...

    baffling Oline still struggling

Not baffling. One common denominator. I'm not one for firing coaches to scapegoat them, but how long do Mike Sewak's OLs have to underperform before a change is made?

    FSU Postgame

Its been like, 12 hrs, and i still love each and every one of you people. This is the biggest moment of the season so far for college football in this state, and you cant trade that for anything. FREAKING AWESOME.

    FSU Postgame

I've never been prouder of a team. Nothing to play for, nothing on the line, and they had guts for days. Unbelievable effort. Now win out and turn this thing around...

    National anthem at game

"OH say, does that star spangled banner yet wave, o'er the land of the free, and the home of the brave?" Could be a question. More likely a typo.

    Jimmy's and Joe's

It's been brought up on the coaches show before. I can't remember the exact quote, but I do know we haven't won on midterms week since 2010, b/c of the level of academic preparation involved. If the ACC weren't run by Tobacco Road Old Money, they could help us out and get our bye week that week.

After Techster tried to tell me you can graduate without calculus at Tech, I spent longer than I should have going through the course catalog trying to find one that didn't require calc. I couldn't find one. Also, whoever talked about that comp. science class beign a **** is spot on. More than...

Then what IS the issue in that regard?

IDK if he's regressed or if he has that little faith in the guys around him. Something different this year, though...

    Jimmy's and Joe's

I was under the impression every major still required survey of calc. And a lot of the guys O'Leary built his teams on wouldn't get into school today. That's just a fact. And "solid to exceptional" is what GT is getting now. According to some, it isn't good enough.

    Jimmy's and Joe's

Ok, even if we suppose that it isn't THAT hard, why would a kid come here and deal with it at all when they don't have to? Unless GT somehow either magically goes liberal arts (ain't happening) or finds a coach that makes kids WANT to work harder at school than is necessary to get to the next...

    Jimmy's and Joe's

I will always maintain that the biggest recruiting hurdle GT faces recruiting is calculus. Even if I were a kid who were somewhat interested in a decent education as well as good football, even if I could theoretically pass survey of Calculus, why would I go to the trouble when I don't have to...

If a guy has feature back size why would he come to GT to play a-back?

Way too early attempt at Perspective.

I hate it too, usually. Like when GT or the Braves or Falcons have just lost and that "Wright from the Heart" guy comes on the radio and talks about how sports are like life and all that. He's not wrong, and I think what he does is worthwhile, but I'm not ready for worldview adjustment just then....

Way too early attempt at Perspective.

    1. Notre Dame is REALLY good. Bryan Kelly is a fantastic coach, and his guys looked focused, prepared, and I thought their situational awareness was off the charts. They might be a top four team for me right now. 2. Thought our O-Line looked scared. Thought the late benching of Burden and Joe...

Film Study Film Study - Offense vs Tulane

See, I thought CPJ was pissed because he wanted the A-Back he sent the play in with (Lynch?) didn't get it in fast enough, and they couldn't get another play off before the quarter ended. That might just be me, though...

Film Study Film Study - Offense vs Alcorn St

Yeah, what stuck out to me was the efficiency with with GT put down Alcorn St. No wasted possessions by the starters. Everyone looked confident, and even with the OL missing assignments, they were so physically superior to their opponents that it didn't matter. We've had GOOD teams under CPJ...

    Down goes Stanford!

Buh buh buh Stanford is the model for all we want to be! PEople on this board said so! It must be true!

Way too early analysis - GT v. Alcorn

There have been past years where our OL couldn't pass protect against inferior teams. Was reassuring and refreshing to see them give Thomas abundant time in the pocket. We looked faster and cleaner in execution than we have in a long time in openers.

    Padded Cover on Clemson Helmet??

It's worth a shot. Especially in practice, where there are more collisions per player than in a game.
