I was wondering last night if they’d use him to push and plug up the middle do help out our edge guys. Don’t forget this is Keion White’s debut for us. I’m excited to see him play
I like the way you think. Just two weeks ago I was having a meltdown. Now I’m thinking we can squeak one out against Clemson.
God I love college football.
Personally I think the coaches would be insane to start Sims at this point. He hasn’t played a snap in 7 quarters of football. If he was shaky against NIU, then personally I think it would be crazy to throw him against a top defense in Death Valley.
I could be wrong. I’d like to see Yates...
I’ve got a feeling we can pull the upset. We are due for one especially against Clemson.
Our o line has been less than stellar so far but this is the week they gel and punch people on the chin. Yates will start and use his maturity and calmness to orchestrate the O just enough to generate...
Just gauging by my very brief interactions with the fan base…but if Tech manages to pull the upset…y’all thought OUR FANBASE had a meltdown after NIU…just imagine the Clemson boards after an upset to Georgia Tech lol
Surprised this hasn’t gotten more attention. At least in his debut we find out if he’s a true stud or not. If his name is called against Clemson, my eyes will be wide open
I agree on Yates. Right now he’s proven he gives us our best chance to compete. But I fear our coaching staff will want to start Sims just because. I hope they’re smarter than that though.
I’m hoping we keep gelling and come out this weekend looking fired up on both sides of the ball
I like the fluidity with Yates. That’s gotta be the missing ingredient compared with him and Yates. Our O line is still suspect. One play in the second half as soon as the ball was snapped, a lineman got knocked flat on his butt. I don’t remember the outcome of the play but it wasn’t what I was...
Dang sorry if I’m posting the obvious. I’m anxious to see what he can do with his own stage. I went back and rewatched highlights from last weekend and nothing I saw he did was wrong. He looked relatively sharp
Am I reading this wrong?
either Yates flat out is beating Yates out in practice, Sims is still hurt, or Sims isn’t playing so great. Either way this makes tomorrow way more interesting...
Get rid of EVERYTHING that doesn’t have to do with actual football and coaching at this point. His biggest marketing tool and solution to catch attention would be to WIN.
