I agree he is quick but nobody can continue to run this offense without taking licks.Nesbitt took many shots but he was big kid and Jaybo was too slow it seemed and TW did well adjusting to the pressure but folks are going to load up and come after him in the future. He is no Tracy but...
He is that but so far ....the guys we play down the road may have something to do with him getting in open field.Yes he is built well but so are the DL and LBS.I will agree his speed and quickness are his big points on this offense and how well he plays sort of defines how well we do.
JT is a handful when he gets loose no doubt..I have said this before but my only concern is taking hits since we all know he will get starch knocked out of him.He looks like a leader and has fire and good arm motion .It is good to see him perform well in his first real game.
Yeah play all you can play........Dodd did it for years and it pays off. What I am finding more and more is that no matter who you play now the first team of any school are about not quite equal. It is a depth thing thatseems to win games now .....I would have played Byerly some no doubt about it.
I like the way he throws the ball and he has tons of speed. My deal is simple will he be able to take the hits..And we know he will get them in this offense. He looks good for a converted defensive back from Bama. He also looks like he enjoys playing and that helps everybody. We shall see but so...
Me either..........probably wont get a decent read until VT.one thing I am looking for is better rush defense though.........thanks for the cap its hot down he=
Me either need to improve quickly on the run defense and this kid can chuck i
Me either...........got to handle run better though on...
I would hope you are right about the focus on Wofford...if we were up for the game and had to play this hard...we may be in deep kemchi for rest of the year.
I go with fresh legs vs talent.By now any school has decent players but the good schools have plenty of them.In many schools the second team is close to being as good as the first and after two hours in a 95 degree heat storm somebody is going to lose their quickness.Dodd used to play the...
I will say this...I live in Wadley which is fifty or so miles from Statesboro and have a house there for school and many guys I commanded in the Air Wing are Eagle fans and if we think that they are not ready to WIN not play a good game but WIN then we have problems. They have been wanting this...
You are spot on......when GSU played the terriers it was all ways a good game to watch..They are well coached and no doubt ready to play. This is no Elon or Bama A and T etc it is a good team that probably lost due to lack of depth not for effort.
Hats off to the terriers........they put the fear of the Lord into us or they should have.We didnt play that bad but in my humble opinion we didnt looklike we were ready to get after them.Okay many excuses for that but no doubt they were ready to play us.Good points and bad and plenty of room...
Agree the noon time will absolute kill you if you are over 60 plus...went to NCS few years ago and will never and I repeat never go to a noon game in august.....cold weather yea but not in this heat.Y:ou are right substituion is very important in this heat.
The greenies have some talent and a guy who can chuck it..they are very young no doubt but they do hustle after the rock.I think we play well but not so sure we will blow them or anybody out this year..We should be better than they are but its a football game not a physical make up
Big thing I saw was lack of intensity on both sides of the ball yet it was hot no doubt and guys were playing what was supposed to be a weak football team but we didnt get it done period.Yeah maybe we were out of position but when a team like Woffard runs right at you and gets yds........thats...
