Exactly and this is why my expectations for this year aren't as high as they usually are, and then add to this that we have to play 6 extra ACC games when the conference is the deepest it's ever been. I was hoping that we would go 20-16 in ACC play this year. Right now we're on pace for 22-14...

We desperately need the relievers to step up and throw some strikes. That has been the most disappointing thing to me is that guys simply can't find the zone. We have guys with elite stuff, but it doesn't matter if you walk or hit every person in the box.

I know Roedig and Brown didn't have clean outings, but it was good to see them come in and keep runs runs off the board. It'll be huge if Roedig can return to form and Brown can provide some middle relief innings.

One bad inning did us in today, but we still got the series win and that's all that matters! Bartnicki and Maxwell have both seemingly hit their grooves now as well and we didn't make an error all weekend which is impressive.

Jenkins is definitely the best defensive first baseman, but you can't take Compton's bat out of the lineup. I'd put Compton at DH like he was used last weekend. It leaves Reid out of the lineup, but he has struggled lately. If CDH wants to play Reid, he could slide into RF with Deleo or Gonzalez...

I hate it that Edwards left, but he does walk a lot of people. It also seems like Jones, Webb, and Touissant are above him in the pecking order so it is understandable. I just liked having him for the depth and his potential.
