We never got to see what Graham could have done in that offense
I also wondered today what would have happened if the Jeff Greenes, Autrys, Philpotts and Howells had stayed
PJ also put into words what we thought -
“He must have just got off from his job at Walmart”
“Punch him in the face”
It’s getting dusty in here just thinking about that. Anybody who thinks PJ didn’t care when it came to Georgia just wasn’t paying attention
this.
PJ was not a fan of playing true freshmen over a much more experienced player (i don't think tre Swilling had quite the amount of experience ahead of him - he's going to be good. showed some flashes this past year). he preferred having a guy who knew where he was going at all times.
now...
Juanyeh.
he had 3 KOR TDs (2 that counted, one taken back on a dodgy call against BJS) and a 95 yard score on defense. So that's three TDs of 77 yards or better - and none came on offense.
He may have been severely shortchanged in his recruiting rankings.
i heard the previous staff had someone...
I don’t think Kirby is worried about us right now
But if you look at their 2019 recruiting class, a lot came from out of state. Dwags has only 4 of the top 50 in Georgia, per rivals.com
Wes is by far the best prepared play by play guy in the business, radio or TV, local, regional or national. Nobody does their homework like he does and it is reflected in his broadcast.
this is true. when he spoke to the cobb/marietta GT club back in 01-02, it could have had its own zip code.
but i think wes has lost some weight since.
as if CPJ didn't want 10 win, top 25 seasons? He wanted to get those too. If he didn't think those were possible at Tech, he never would have come in the first place.
as for CGC, those levels are still out there. He hasn't reached them. Yet.
Southern is running much more zone and doesn't run the triple, a la PJ/Army/Navy. But it's still option based offense.
Southern has always done well recruiting in the North Florida/Jacksonville area and Coach Owens is going to help that with his contacts and ins there.
Glad he's gotten a decent...
what constitutes "the previously unattainable" - we offered Gurley, Bryce Love, Fields, AJ Terrell, Aubrey Solomon, Demetris Robertson, Michail Carter, Tomlinson, Tuitt, et al, a slew of 4 and 5 star guys?
FWIW, them losing their OC and DC won't have much effect, for us anyway. Like they say, Commit to the G, not commit to the OC or DC.
I think Tucker got all he was going to get going to Colorado. I don't think Chaney's presence or influence has that much to do with their recruiting.
Dell McGee...
