It's the age old question of, in spite of all their differences, what does the average Dwag fan have in common with a Tech fan? Neither one of them went to school in Athens.
We were talking to the parents of ppreferred walk on Jackie Harris prior to going through the gate. Good people. Evidently Jackie had a lot of interest from Ivy League in Northeast schools, so must be a smart kid.
I agree with all you said. Good event, the 3 who spoke were very impressive, and the players spent a lot of time at the end speaking to fans ( and seemed to have a good time doing it). We spoke to Brandon for a little while too. He's a class act and will be missed. He said he he will be staying...
If GT had more fans like you, I would consider GT fans as short sighted and delusional as dwag fans. I certainly wouldn't be a sidewalk fan who has bought season tickets for the last 10 years. Like some others have said, the Orange Bowl was just 15 months ago and, if you will stop and remember...
Are you sure the spring game is today? I looked in the AJC today and there was nothing about it other than a teaser for tomorrow's edition. They probably had Ken S covering something more important (to them) this week, like the Buckhead Junior League's bake sale.
Unfortunately I can't be there. My daughter (who is as big a GT fan as anyone on this board and wishes she could be there as well) has a horse show all day Saturday. I would try to convince my wife to let me go to the game and just she go to the horse show, but our couch isn't that comfortable...
I'm really worried about what a UGA blog says. After all, they been unbeatable and have won the national championship every year since they hired Mark Fox
Me too....until the season starts. Seriously, the same people that are complaining now were saying two months ago that if BG was not fired they were done with GT bb. BG was fired and we got played by the Valpo dude (I refuse to say his name) who doesn't believe in living up to his word (if we...
I like Bryce Drew. Not only because he has a good track record at Valparaiso, but think of all the buzz he would bring because of his Hollywood connections! (his father- in-law played Little Ricky Ricardo on I Love Lucy :woot:).
I agree with Midtown Jacket. I spent most of the season saying it was time for him to go because he didn't seem to be building anything. However, I have been excited watching them over that 10 or so games, and they seem to have finally gotten over the hump of losing the single digit games. Yes...
I heard our flagship station announce today that Tech would be in Charlotte playing in the ACC tournament tonight. Either they pay no attention whatsoever to Tech or the ACC, or Tech is going to have to forfeit for not being in DC where the tournament is.
I don't want to show my age, but I took my daughter to the game yesterday, and the last time I went to a a GT bb game, Rich Yunkus was a starter. We won that game, too. Maybe I need to go more often
I actually had lunch at their gift shop/deli yesterday. Needless to say, I had their cheese sandwich. It's a good place to grab a bite if you're in Thomasville.
As soon as we sign one 4 or 5 star recruit who says they will pursue this degree, the Board of Regents will insist on the creation of a BA in Rap for UGA and pull all funding for the Tech program.
Very interesting video. I always knew Dodd was a master of the quick kick, but I didn't realize that he often had the running back do it. I just assumed he had the QB drop back and kick.
Although I think it would keep the defense off balance, can you imagine the outcry from some of the fans...
