I really think you are right. If CPJ didn't care he wouldn't yell. There are standards that he holds for everyone and if CPJ feels like you can/ should do better , then CPJ doing that is a favor. I can bet Snoddy want forget it.

The playing time they get now will pay double at end of the season. Sometimes you have to get your feet put to the fire to learn what it takes. I'm glad they can do it as a back up versus as starters.
