I still thought the difference in Toss and Crack was more of blocking then then the toss.

Most crack toss include a WR or in our case an AB doing a crack block block on the LOS which is why it’s called a crack toss. That’s not an opinion.

Imo if the AB is chipping on the outside instead of extending to the next level it’s a crack toss.

Also to me a true rocket toss has to give the ABs time to block the 2nd level most of the goal line tosses were down blocking and setting and edge rather then extending the play at the 2nd level.
