Personally I don’t want to be like auburn or Georgia or penn state. I want to be Georgia Tech. I want to be innovative and different and luckily we have a coach and AD who feel the same way.
I would be very surprised if we are still wearing white for home games under Coach Collins. He knows that uniforms are a big deal to modern recruits and will try to capitalize on that by having several different cool combinations.
I just want to be done with wearing white jerseys at home. I know that it is sort of a tradition but the players don't like it and it gets annoying seeing other teams come into our house with their home uniforms on.
It is happening isn't it?? It just makes so much sense. He is from Georgia, he wants playing time, and he went out of his way to thank Geoff Collins for recruiting him. These are exciting times, regardless of what happens here.
This is so refreshing to hear. Thank you for your honesty. What it all boils down to is nostalgia, and I get that. We all love Bobby Dodd Stadium, but in order for us to be successful against the Clemsons and Georgias we HAVE to be innovative. Weather its running an offense nobody else runs...
How many college coaches out there can tell a recruit "We have our amazing historic stadium on campus, and we also have one of the most advanced and coveted stadiums in the world as an alternate once a year"?
We have become a fan base of defeatists. We just assume that we will suck and Clemson will be great going into 2020, and that Clemson will buy up all the tickets and its just gonna be the worst thing ever.
We have the nicest stadium in the world 1 mile from campus and we decide to take...
I may be wrong, but when I look at the clip where he hands Marco the phone, to me it kinda looks and sounds like he is saying "Let's go". I like to think that maybe he was getting good news on a recruit.
