Per Benjamin London on Twitter: “I have been told that @Buster_Faulkner is been going around all of the Athens area. He visited @pacsfootball1 and @OCFearTheSpear this morning. Wouldn’t be shocked if he continues to recruit in the Northeast Georgia region.”
The dawg fans are fussing already I am...
I am curious to see how Key manages all expectations and responsibilities as the full time HC. I am excited to see how he utilizes the talent (strengths) of the staff that he has assembled. It will be interesting to see how as individuals the staff develops and coaches their position players. I...

Real question: How quickly can we expect to see fruits of these moves by hiring high profile high school coaches? Are these hires already producing results with the highly rated 2024 recruits being on campus this weekend? Do we expect to flip or gain any more recruits for the 23 class? I would...
Maybe these alumni will give the football team a deal on this “smart weight training equipment”.

It is VERY CLEAR that Key is making a HIGH Priority for inside tracks on recruiting the nearby metro Atlanta suburbs by hiring highly successful and high caliber high school coaches with great reputations and relationships with coaches and families to bolster GT recruiting territory immediately...
It will be interesting to see how this new assembly of defensive and offensive coaching teams come together as a staff, in developing their individual position groups, recruiting, and ultimately how it all fleshes out on the field. It is an exciting time as a GT fan to see how well our new HC...
Going to be interesting to see who Key brings in and how quickly the new hires are in place. I had previously thought the defensive staff was staying intact but I suppose private conversations have happened since. Goes to show that Key isn’t afraid of shaking things up or terminating people...
If indeed it is Norval McKenzie it looks like he was very successful when he was working as a special teams coach according to his bio on the Vanderbilt website. Plus he is familiar with recruiting to a high academic college as well. I always doubted that Choice would come back for a similar or...
Lol. Maybe if uga does pay GT for Faulkner’s services for this period of time can we make sure these funds go into the “competitive drive campaign bucket” and we can double it and perhaps have it be the amount needed to max out the match (3.5 million). We would essentially get to double down in...
This could be a very delicate situation and tricky one for Key to navigate.
It’s a catch 22. If Key allows him to coach for the playoffs is GT financially compensated for loaning Faulkner’s time. And if so what are the terms. Because surely if Key allows it for the Chic Fil A game then UGA will...
I can’t imagine that it would be allowed from a NCAA standpoint. Faulkner is no longer a UGA Football staff employee so how could he possibly work for them now “just during the playoffs” while also being an OC for GT?
True to form for Key, much like delaying his own press conference, for him to hire Buster and “go to work” instead of a flashy press conference and exclusive interviews. Go get’em men!
