wishbone does NOT equal option. (nor does flexbone). Too many people on this site immediately think about CPJ's triple option offense when anyone mentions option, but there are w WIDE variety of option offenses and as this thread shows, the NFL uses option offense as well.

I agree he has no elusiveness. AT ALL. But his holding the ball too long may be correctable. He got it out OK on the last drive (which failed). Maybe I am overly optimistic, but I am not sure we should write a kid off because of one game.

I think Sims will WANT to go Saturday, but if he is still hurt and cannot run, he's a liability to our offense imho. We'll all see soon enough...

So, AJC article today says both Gibson and Pyron are being prepped to play Saturday. It also sounds like Pyron will have a limited package so as not to overwhelm the freshman. I am optimistic that Gibson will perform better knowing he's the guy, and am also interested in seeing what Pyron can...

Honestly,. with Sims at 100% we are a decent offensive team (see: Pitt game) and would have a chance. Without him, you are completely correct.
