I believe the run game from FSU was running the clock almost as well as ours was. With our D getting manhandled, im sure CPJ was trying to limit their time on the field. Passing could have backfired tremendously and made the margin for error even smaller. I understand what you are saying... but...

We dont play zone defense very well at all. Jameis cant have no pressure on him all game. He is a good QB. He picked up apart in the passing game. If hes hurried some... we may have had more chsnces at TOs.

I think this will be a FSU type game for us. If we cant get any pressure no matter what we will lose by a couple. If we play better on D line and can force some hurried throws I like our chances. Prescott will be a huge challenge, but our guys will be ready to go. Alot on the line with this one...

I also like Byerly alot. Its a shame he couldnt have come along after JT so he could have more of a shot. But he was playing against the prevent D in the Duke game and they were playing relaxed. Byerly is a good passer and runner... but i wouldnt judge solely off of junk time drives.

It is a devastating play when ran at the right time. JT might have missed 2-3 reads all night... as a 1st year starting sophomore. His ceiling is very high in this offense. Miami should be our toughest competition in future years with JT, and I like our chances.
