I left another board because of yahoos. When the same feelings of anger returned when reading posts here this weekend, I was forced to try the button. Instant zen. All those horrid posts just magically disappeared from the threads. :)
It it could've cost both Dook and ND the game with an onside kick in both games. Perhaps it is just a coincidence that the Dook D "backed off" last year when coach finally benched JT when he was clearly having a bad game. We can disagree about the definition of "garbage time."
I spy a troll. Byerly was injured before the ND game. Real close eye you got on the team there. And BTW - the 4th quarter is not "garbage time." "Garbage time" is whenever one of the teams clears the bench of its back-ups. Dook did not clear the bench last year, nor did ND this year.
Ugh. That board and that poster. Horrid. Makes everyone miserable. Some posters that showed up here over the weekend belong over there. However, thanks to the technology miracle that is the ignore button, I'm no longer wise in regards to their existence here.
I don't completely agree Ibee, for the reason stated in my original post. I would rather see a 2 yard gain than a TFL. Maybe the gain doesn't necessarily happen, maybe it does. If the both the QB and the pitch man are covered in an option sweep, the QB is supposed to keep and get what yards...
C'mon guys. I'm just looking at one player and the possible impact to the game. Like I said, the overall result may not be different (losses), but the impact on the field might (offensive TOP & points).
Quit being such pansies and agree or disagree.
<------ This may chum up the waters a bit but here it goes. My vote goes to Tim Byerly.
"But he's just the backup QB" you say.
I love JT. He's awesome. Tim Byerly is not JT and he knows it. He is not as fast and as slick as JT, therefore there is a fundamental difference in the...
I like TaQuon, but when would he play QB? Certainly not this year as a true frosh. Not sure anything less than a R-Soph could do well playing QB in this system. It would take a really gifted player to pull that off IMO.
You have redeemed yourself. The thread has served a purpose in helping many, myself included, identify to which posters the ignore button should be applied. I'm happier for it.
Excuse me? Clempun had the #1 defense in CFB last year, and we tripled the ypg rushing average against them. Against Dook last year, we did implode offensively with 3 or 4 TO's.
