I agree with RyanS. The coaches have a lot of people that they want to see on the field for the first time. I would like to see all of them succeed, but I am not sure I would bet on it. It is not the coaches' objective to run up the score.
Do you believe a current doormat team in a small market that cannot win consistently could be more effective trying flexbone? Win 4 games instead of 1? I believe if it is ever tried, this will be the scenario. It will not be a case of the Packers trying it. So then the question becomes...
I agree and if you are the Jacksonville Jaguars, are you just going to continue losing forever? I don't imagine the Patriots trying this. This is for a perennial loser that would like to win 6 to 7 games. What have they really got to lose?
You bring up an interesting point. Can you imagine a Virginia Tech practice? Sack, Fumble, Interception, TFL... It must be hilarious. I have never seen one of their Spring games. It must be a lot like last year's Wake Forest game.
I lost respect for Dabo after the "Uppercut Battle" incident. Internal punishment and "he felt really sorry". Laughed a bit when he left the team after Dabo tried to actually punish him a bit this year.
I seriously would spend extra money to sit next to you guys at a game, or better yet, with a DVR. I just watch the games in amazement, with no clue how these guys do it. In my defense, I may not be a lot different than some of the coaches we face.
I remember one where the press was just going on and on about how Tech was not as good as the other team and Paul mused out loud something like, "do we get to play the game?" Can't remember it exactly, but the way he put it was classic.
That is so funny. I have seen this used on all the various sites and I have been searching for this mysterious site of all things Georgia Tech for quite a while. Thanks for cluing me in.
I remember the fish for ND. I am not proud to say this today, but I remember that black garbage bag of fish hanging outside my dorm room (Smith) for about a week. It was hot the day of the game and ND had fans blowing on them. Of course, those became the targets. Then there was the Rat group...
Calvin wasn't 5*. Bey Bey was only 3*. I have often thought that this could be a great recruiting line - "We put more 3 and 4 star players in the NFL than anyone else. Imagine what we could do with you."
Back to the OP, if you want faith restored, go back and look at any of Vad Lee's games...
