    I don't think Arizona or any other school is coveting Pastner. I think Arizona would have a particularly hard time getting its Board of Regents to sign off on hiring a coach from a program coming off probation to replace a coach that is about to put his own school on probation.

    All the seniors are gone. I can't imagine a good reason to return to college for the sole purpose of playing on its basketball team. I also don't believe Devoe will get the kind of feedback he would need to be an early entrant to the NBA draft.

    I was at Tech during the early Bobby Cremins years. I would rate this year's coaching job behind his 1985 - 1992 and Hewitt's 2004.     NCAA limits weekly practice time to 20 hours during the season. With games, the commitment is probably about 30 hours per week. Which is still astronomical.
