That's not a bigger job unless GT is even more broke than we are afraid of... that would be an interesting move. GT has its disadvantages and I think the national media folks who say Atlanta makes it a sleeping giant don't give those enough credence, but other than "it would be academically...
Unless this is code for “GT doesn’t have any money” … good luck with that. All the hesitations around the option among GT fans will be larger at bigger jobs… unless he’s got something lined up this year, he could be waiting a while.
I don't know what was so unclear here:
"Getting held under 200 yards is definitely concerning to me. I’m a fan, but one thing Johnson’s teams always did pretty well was be fairly robust against a single injury, other than the non-option 3rd-string Booker against Gardner Webb in year 1."
I like...
And? You don't think PJ's offenses being able to continue to move the ball even with backups (see also Jaybo Shaw in 2008) is a good sign of Johnson's offensive skill even if the points weren't always there? You're gonna overlook 13 with Nesbitt against a 6-7 Clemson team to harp on 10 against a...
Tevin Washington had 125 yards of offense running/passing himself in that one coming in cold and the team still had 426 total. Then the team had 409 yards the next week against Miami. 410 against Duke. 512 against UGA.
Some tough losses in there but they didn't stop being able to move the ball...
We did worse against Clemson under Collins than last year despite Clemson ending up a worse team. We did better against UGA under Key and they don't seem any worse than last year.
At the time I thought the first two and a half quarters against Clemson were a potential sign of improvement, but...

I wonder if you could do a bunch just on the prep side with the right technology. Someone at Tech should build a really robust VR training environment and some 3d scanning of live games at BDS to build VR drills of game situations against top opposing players. “Can you find the right angle to...
Saying “it’s unfair to me and the players to lie about some things and ignore all the success” is a pretty restrained position. The walk the walk thing is the most straight burn I see in there but it’s still pretty mild.
I appreciate that he didn’t say it before Collins was fired, which...
I feel like it’s been a long time since we won against UGA when we only had a 10% chance so OBVIOUSLY we’re due.
But man, that 10% feels generous based on the past few years
