One thing I remember from that story is some message board people can't tell the difference between intentional humiliation and being a little mean.
Which brings us full circle to why the phrase "student-athlete" was coined by the NCAA in the first place. They thought the schools would be responsible for workman's comp if deemed to work for the school in any way. Now add in health insurance and you'd have huge sums of money.
Texas Tech is abusing that little Simpson kid on Michigan. Almost all of their points have come against him and he can't function against their defense.
Beilein appears ready to die on that hill.
Maybe I am missing something but I can't think of a better reason to fire a coach. If not one player can trust the coach how could anyone in the sport ever succeed?
