  1. So what coach interviewed today??

Sounds like he has an offer on the table(?)
  2. Eddie McAshan Legacy

    Thanks for posting this, ATL1.
  3. So what coach interviewed today??

    4. The factories try to get rules changed in the offseason to hamper your scheme.
  4. So what coach interviewed today??

No, Kelly was technically stepping down when he went to Florida State. He was our interim DC and went to FSU to be a linebackers coach. In fairness, it was a lateral move as he went from our DB coach to their LB one (and he knew he would not get the full-time DC gig here), but it definitely...
  5. So what coach interviewed today??

He'd be my guess as the first coach to be poached from us. He's done a great job with what he's had to work with, recruited well, and doesn't have strong ties to CPJ, unlike coaches like Owens, Speed, Sewak, etc.
  6. Centers and Guards 2015

Bryan Chamberlain will be a senior in 2015. Errin Joe will be as well, though he could potentially get a medical redshirt to allow him to play in 2016. Those are far from guaranteed, so we may have three new starters on the OL for 2016, not just one.
  7. What FR get on the field?

I agree with most of your picks but this one sticks out. Why do you consider Wigley a lock? We've got a solid two-deep at CB in White, Milton, Austin, and Durham. If Wigley impresses, he'll play of course, but CB's not an area of need for 2015. Or are you looking at him for special teams?
  8. Spring Game Matchup ?

If I'm interpreting the original post right, he's not saying Jordan will beat out Byerly but that the first team will consist of the 1st and 3rd string QBs and the second team will have the 2nd and 4th string ones.
  9. 2015 Spring Depth Chart

When did Errin Joe look better at RG than Devine? Or is this hypothetical? I'll be very surprised if Devine's not a starter this year.
  10. 2015 Spring Depth Chart

Agreed. Hopefully, Gary Brown is the first guard to rotate in to spell Devine or Braun.
  11. Spring Practice Who to watch for?

All indications are Isaiah Willis will be a fairly big contributor next year, unless some of the true freshman A-Backs jump him on the depth chart.
  12. Spring Practice Who to watch for?

For me, all the guys coming off their redshirt years: Gary Brown, CJ Leggett, Tre Jackson, Jalen Johnson, Qua Searcy, Clinton Lynch, etc.
  13. LB depth

Was our base formation really a 4-2-5 this year as much as people think? It seemed to me I saw a lot of 3 LB sets throughout the year with Nealy, Davis, and Marcordes on the field at the same time. For 2015, I'd prefer a 4-3, with Harrell, Davis, and Marcordes starting and Hankins, Jackson...
  14. Is the next Duke Johnson or Geovani Bendard....

Well, that's not true. The huge majority of their yards come outside but we have a number of counter option and quick-hitting designated handoff plays that send A-backs between the tackles with the ball.
  15. Francis Kallon

    Well said.
  16. Senior Appreciation B. J. Bostic #7, RS SR, Became a Jacket on 6/11/09

Wow, I did not realize this. I was actually sitting on the south goal line in the Upper East for the Miami game, so I had a great vantage point for that TD (as well as Jamal Golden's game-sealing interception.) It was great hustle and a nice dive on BJ's part to dive into the endzone on that...
  17. Early enrollees

Tre Jackson redshirted this year along with Jordan.
  18. Jamal Golden makes his decision

I love Jamal but I'm honestly surprised to hear he would've been projected that high! Makes me wonder where D.J. White would be projected. His NFL ceiling is a lot higher than Golden's in my relatively uninformed opinion.
  19. Looking Ahead - AB

He should. Broken bones are far less serious chronically than blown ligaments.
  20. Merry Christmas!

The next game we play after that, he should have a big on-field role. Merry Christmas to everyone!
