Good post. Played hard till the end. Rebounds was pleasant surprise. Gapare is going to be a player. Still learning the game and staying under control.
I took the time to watch 3 other ACC games today. It was clear we don't have the talent of any of those 6 teams. We're missing inside play, we don't have 1 on 1 players to drive to the baket, etc. The young players we have are a good begining and the incoming FR look good. Just need a portal...

That was, not surprising, the difference in the game. The difference in free throws was caused, to some extent, by that. The lack of a big in the middle has been, and will continue to be, our biggest problem.
Points in the paint and free throws killed a good defensive effort. Foul difference was huge! Good effort. We just need a few more Kelly types. Gapare play was a huge surprise. He had looked good recently. Tonight he was terrible, as I'm sure he would admit.
