Looks like no DeLeo in the lineup today. WREK announcers noted that he was limping at times late in yesterday's game. I hope it's not a long term issue.
I thought I heard that Tech was up 9-1 at the end of the half on TCU. But could be mistaken, since I'm watching on my phone which seems to have poor quality audio and no score overlay.
Don't forget FR Camron Hill's 3 scoreless. Surprised he pitched 3. DH tomorrow a factor? First 2 were strong. Lost the zone a little in inning 3, as I noted in chat, but still put up a zero. He threw 28 pitches in 1 inning last weekend. 48 in 3 IP today. Building him up for a mid-week role...
I noticed that as well Nuke, and was probably as surprised as you were. Clearly recent performance is a significant contributor for some (Bryant, anyone?). Long Beach State had a significant jump as well after their series win against Mississippi State. Not sure how we may have snuck in...
Yeah, I suspect that's what everyone thought when all we had to do was beat Trinidad and Tobago to qualify for the last world cup. I won't consider things "fine" until we're in.
D1Baseball has always been consistent and transparent about their rankings. Early in the season, it is mostly projection based. As the season progresses, it becomes more results based.
Liberty and Long Beach State both got significant bumps due to their series wins. East Carolina got a...

Finley comments in GT's game notes vs. Wright state, page 5. Finley will "miss much of the season after Tommy John Surgery."
"He's projected to return to the mound near the end of the season with him...
I believe I read that Finley will be out for a significant part of the year (pitching wise) due to his TJ recovery. Still available to hit though. If I recall where I read that, I'll reference it.
Another wrinkle in Wright State's chances to win their conference that I just read on D1Baseball: UIC, which is their biggest competition to win the conference, was ruled ineligible for the conference championship this year because they're leaving the Horizon and joining the Missouri Valley...
My first time at McCamish. Ended up being a good game, but Tech didn't play well early. The biggest difference I noted between the teams was that ND seemed to get a lot of easy layups inside, most of which they made. We struggled to get it inside, and when we did we often missed the shots.
Why, what have you heard? I'm seeing near 60, low near 40. Chance of rain Friday and Saturday. Although they may change that tomorrow... May bring my shorts. Better than the 18 we had here Monday night. I still have an inch or 2 of ice on my driveway because I don't want to expend the energy to...
