It showed a video of coach Sisk giving summer workouts to the freshman, and he said something about showing up to workouts or getting punished. Apparently it's against NCAA rules to require summer activities. We got like the mildest possible infraction, and it was really no big deal. It was...
That was awesome! We've never really had treats like this, except for the "Process" videos a few years back which resulted in super-mild NCAA violations.
Keep it up GT!
I went to the bookstore today to check things out. They had a nice selection of polos, pullovers, tshirts, and hats. What I really want to see is some workout gear. I'm sure it will come along eventually.
The white/away unis are my favorite, but they both look great. Different enough from other schools' uniforms to distinguish ourselves while at the same time not going off of the deep end like Maryland.
Count me pleased!
That's very sad, but the silver lining for these kids is that several years ago, they chose to take the harder route and attend a school whose degrees are worth a damn. Football's not going to pan out for these guys, but they have a solid back-up plan.
How many kids does this happens to every...
@brandon_cox Thank you so much for all of your insight and "film breakdown" for lack of a better term.
I'm curious to see if/how the girlfriend's story changes now that she is not longer cohabitating with RB. If our hypothesis that she was pressured by Ron into fabricating the assault story...
Great write up. Thanks! I'm 100% on Pastner's side. Regarding your wife's attitude toward the trip and CPast not knowing about it: Remember the trip "was during a period when the NCAA allows no organized basketball activities." I find it easy to believe CPast didn't know where the kids where.
The AJC article says Pastner was groping the woman in McCamish pavilion and that a security guard witnessed it. If that were the case and there was so much evidence, why are they suing instead of pressing charges? Sounds like BS to me.
I did actually take a picture of it with the intent of posting it on here. The lighting in the picture was terrible though, and the gold appeared to be darker in the picture than in real life. I'm not great at taking pictures. I'm sure we'll all see it soon enough though.
I've seen these polos. I spoke with the BN people the day they were putting them out. Those polos are the actual shade of gold we've chosen. It looked good to me.
I would have liked more money, but I think this is a great deal overall. Our guys are getting way more gear than other schools. Also, we have the ability to increase the funding by simply winning. Sounds good to me!
HELL YES! I stated in the original Ron Bell thread several months ago that I wanted to go after this guy with legal action after the NCAA stuff was done. Screw this guy for coming after CPast and by extension, the GT brand. He messed with the wrong people.
Good god almighty thank you. TStan's judgement, forethought, and lack of irrational knee-jerk reactions continue to raise my opinion of him. I've loved literally everything TStan has done so far.
