I made the original comment that anyone who claims to be a good shooter should be hitting 80% from the free throw line. Otherwise, they are not a good shooter. I stand by that.
Coleman, Smith, and Sturdivant all shoot below 70% from the free throw line. If you can't stand 15 feet in front of the basket with no one in front of you and hit 8 our of 10 shots, you are not a good shooter. It is time to accept the reality that these three guys are below average shooters.

The ACC tournament win was not much to capitalize on. In the 70 year history of the tournament, this was the weakest victory. Virginia and Duke forfeited and we only had to play two games. Everything else you said is spot on.
I agree that the need for better coaches and NIL requires a greater financial commitment. I disagree that it could be worse. The last time the team performed this bad was in Hewitt's last season.
