Banks hasn’t been much of a contributor offensively, but he’s done a really good job of keeping possessions alive by either grabbing the board or tipping it out to the guards. To your point, he and Moses were beast on the offensive boards last night.
When Moses has his motor going, he’s a...
Get a road win at Pitt on Saturday and we could rise as high as 6th or 7th in the conference. A top half finish is not out of the realm of possibility - IF - we can stay healthy and win the ones we are suppose too.
Agreed..I’ve been saying that as well. Shoot the rock, Bubba. His play hasn’t really shown up in the box score, but he’s been playing well as of late. If we could get him up to 9-10 points per game, it would be big!
He mentioned after the game that his daughter is due any day now, and that he was thinking of her throughout. He really played inspired ball from tip-off.
Ive been to most home games and the turnout has been pretty solid for the most part. Students not so much (without some big name or giveaways), but it’s still better than their turnout for football.
He scored 21 against UL - I don't think that he has anything to do with Usher. Sometimes, it is as simple as an injury.
I don't think that there is any need to look further into it than that. His absence has definitely hurt the team though.
To your point, we have virtually no shooting...
That’s the problem, bud. There’s no discussion. It’s just people like yourself that keep repeating the same thing. Get rid of him when that’s not fiscally possible right now.
Despite how many times it said here, it still hasn’t sunk in. Just because one doesn’t jump on here and start blasting...
My problem wasn’t the fouls called against us, it was the fact that we played most of the game in the lane, and the refs swallowed their whistles. I don’t think that was the sole difference in the game, it was their ability to shoot the 3 vs our inability, but they were allowing their D to play...
You’re right, why did I even bother coming here? The number of people participating on this board has dwindled to near nothing for a reason. I should have known that the 5 of you (Pea ain’t one of you) were going to pull out the same ole rinse, repeat argument after the L. Ya’ll do your...
ND - 6.5. That number seems a little high. Perhaps they’re reacting to the Devoe injury. We’ve been really good against the spread, but I want this W. Hope we are focused today!
We're back on the road where we seem to play really well. I'm not sure if we lock-in better on the opponents homecourt or what, I suspect that we play better than round 1 against them.
IMO, we have to play better defensively than we did when we played them in Atlanta. Pastner mentioned that...
That is the Tom Crean development program that we heard so much about earlier this year.
You know the same one that was used for D-Wade and Oladipo..LOL
Didenko breaks through with a 3pt bucket! He also had a few rebounds. I’m interested to see if he’s back next season, but he has good size and a nice looking shot.
Happy to see Coleman Boyd knock one down as well. He looks like he’s got game. Nice form on his shot!
@Peacone36 ...I had to go way back to dig this one up. Was right about one part at least. When we made this bet, I didn’t think that Marcus Watson would lock it down for me.
Consider it dead, if you hadn’t already..LOL
Trust me...that was not the intention. Nothing about that should give the impression of a moral victory.
It was more about lamenting how we lost to a team that we shouldn't have (even though our PG and best overall player was hobbled ;) )
Everyone wanted to pump UGA up like they were some...
